Adjustment of the melt flow index tester: After unpacking the instrument, count and check whether the instrument is in good condition according to the name and quantity indicated in the packing list and drawings, and whether the technical documents and accessories are complete. After the inspection is undamaged, the instrument will be wiped clean. Put it on a stable working table, and then push the push-pull rod connecting the mouth die baffle to the furnace body. Looking down from the upper port of the barrel, you can see the mouth die baffle to block about one-third of the lower caliber of the barrel. Then insert the leveling rod into the barrel from the upper port of the barrel, and make the bottom surface of the rod contact the baffle of the die, and then put the level on the rod. According to the level bubble, adjust the four adjusting screws under the base to make the barrel reach the plumb weight state (Note: This is to avoid excessive friction or bending of the piston under heavy load). The melt index tester then tightens the lock nut of the adjusting screw, and removes the level and its support rod.
